So who/what exactly is Major Lazer? Whats up with that crazy cartoon character looking like Barret from FF7? Major Lazer is the stage name for DJ/Producers Diplo and Switch. The fictional character is an ex Jamaican Commando that slays vampires and various monsters. He parties hard, and rocks a rocket powered hoverboard. Sounds like one pimp ass mofuka. Anyway, Diplo and Switch traveled to Jamaica to record the Major Lazer album entitled “Guns Don’t Kill People Lazers Do”. They met while both working with M.I.A. Check out an awesome interview on Socialstereotype. Excited to see these guys do their thing this Halloween at HARD Haunted Mansion!
